In a couple of months our beloved 'DamnJDM' will no longer be with us... As many of you noticed last months/years the new content got less and less. Jobs, family and a house took its toll on the available time to keep this website at the level it once was. With this message I want to thank all of the readers, writers and people who helped out tro...Read Full Post »

If you are really into drifting you'll love Ebisu. Thats not an opinion, its a fact. Nobushige Kumakuba's Ebisu circuit (or should I say circuits) is heaven on earth for Drifters. It has all the tracks and corners you need. From small touge-courses on the hills to open practice ground. But the real drifters ofcourse come to Ebisu for the South Course, the most famous course. Ebis...Read Full Post »

Often in Europe allot of car owners, and not only Japanese car owners, make their cars look like a USDM model. For example how many MX-5's have been converted into Miata's already? Quite allot. At the same time allot of American car owners want their rides to look real Japanese. Its the basic rule of "the grass thats always greener on the other side". The same counts in Japan. Over the years we've seen that while America tr...Read Full Post »

It surely doesn't come as a suprise that the C10 Skyline is one of the favorite cars here at DamnJDM. We've seen allot of them comming trough our blog in the past. Today I did stumble upon a video which amazed me that I haven't seen it before. Its features one of the very few Hakosuka's in the United States. This awesome KGC10 semi-KPGC10 replica was one ofRead Full Post »

In honour of the saying "better late than never" we'd still like to give you guys a look on the biggest annual Japanese car event in Holland... "Japanse Autosport Festival" edition 2012. Not held at the TT Assen curcuit like it used to be, but this time people headed to the coast the find the curcuitpark of Zandvoort between the dunes protecting our country from the North Sea. Japanese cars in all sizes and styles gathered for...Read Full Post »

Its been a while since we had a nice report on a car again. After the PS13, Godzilla & R35 and the R34 V-spec II Nür it was time to take a look at something not so... Nissan-ish. Our member from the first hour, NagyB hunted down this awesome EG Civic. All dressed up in the current low Cali-style. Eventhough the pictures ...Read Full Post »

One of our readers recently paid the Nordschleife aka "the green hell" a visit with some friends. He was kind enough to share with us the pictures they have taken there. So we highlighted a few of the best JDM-rides they spotted. Including this neat Swiss hachiroku. Further down this article you'll find some neat BNR33's, an (in Europe pretty rare) S15 Spec-R, some nice Supra's, S2k's, EVO's and STi's.... and a Hyundai Ge...Read Full Post »

The B10 was the first car to carry the long-lasting Sunny name. At first there were only two models. The normal 2-door sedan and the Sunny Van. In its introduction year you could not simple buy a B10 at your local Nissan or Dat...Read Full Post »

I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't need any introduction. Atsushi Kuroi, one of the most famous drifters in the world died in a motorcycle accident just over 2 years ago. A shock went trough the whole drifting and Japanese autosport scene. The ex-Yakuza who traded his ganglife for a drifting carreer only got to be 40 years old. T...Read Full Post »

Finally the final word has been spoken. After years of rumour Nissan announced they will relaunch the Datsun brand. However, don't expect the revival of the 510 SSS or cars a-like. With dusting of the Datsun name Nissan wants to launch a low-budget brand. It should be placed under Nissan with makes the total line-up of car brand complete. Datsun for the low-cost budget cars, Infiniti for the luxury cars and Nissan for ev...Read Full Post »
